New clinic specializing in pediatric neurodevelopment

After supporting Plan International in the first phase of its Growing with Love programme in El Salvador, Fondation Dora remains on board for phase two.

Under this project, children with neurological, learning or behavioural developmental disorders are supported with specialised medical, psychological and physiological therapy. The emphasis is on quality, warmth and compassion.

During this second phase, this model will be extended to the San Juan de Dios hospital in Santa Ana in the west of El Salvador. A new clinic is under construction and medical personnel are being trained so that families will be able to receive the support they need to better care for their children.

The aim is to guarantee access to high-quality, dignified, child-centred care for families in western El Salvador.
