Fondation Dora works to support children with “special needs”. “Special needs” refers to any situation in which children face physical or mental health issues, learning difficulties, problems
at home or a breakdown in family relationships.
The foundation principally supports programmes dedicated to research, prevention, training and treatment. These programmes are aimed at children, their families and/or those around them, as well as the professionals who work with them.
The foundation prioritises support for the creation and development of new programmes that help young children. It doesn’t run these programmes itself, but financially supports the organisations that do.
The foundation is committed to mid and long-term programmes and works closely with the institutions that run them.
