Clinic specialising in paediatric neurodevelopment

The Dr. José Antonio Saldaña National General Hospital of Pulmonology and Family Medicine has become the first hospital in El Salvador to establish a clinic specialising in paediatric neurodevelopment. The clinic was inaugurated in September 2025.

Since 2023, the NGO Plan International has worked with the Dr. José Antonio Saldaña hospital to create an environment that allows children with neurological developmental impairments to receive comprehensive care. Priority is placed on improving the competencies of healthcare staff as well as the family environment.
