Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Autism

Through the Pôle Autisme foundation, Fondation Dora supported the creation of a university course leading to a CAS in autism. The aim is to deepen understanding of autism and open up new perspectives in clinical, educational and pedagogical care.
To meet training needs, the Faculty of Medecine, and the Faculty of Psychology and Education Science at the University of Geneva, as well as the School of Social Work (Haute Ecole de travail social, HES-SO), now offer the Certificate of Advanced Studies in Autism: Diagnosis, Intervention and Research. The course lasts two years.
The course is aimed at healthcare professionals, social workers and educationalists working in the field of autism, as well as anyone involved in caring for people with autism (including parents).
Fondation Dora’s support made it possible to award scholarships to students unable to afford the course fees, to purchase learning materials and to invite globally-renowned experts to contribute to the course.
